Ilan Shahor M. D., B.A.c.C., R.C.H.M, C.M.I.R.

Ilan Shahor qualified as a medical Doctor from The Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. He then worked as a hospital Doctor in a General Medical Ward for two years but after becoming disillusioned with aspects of Conventional Medicine he decided to change direction and learn Traditional Chinese Medicine. He then qualified as a TCM Practitioner completing a three year TCM Course held by the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine which is recognized as one of the two most important centres for Chinese Medicine in the world.

Ilan started to practice full time in 1995. He now works from his two busy clinics and has accumulated invaluable experience in treating people with TCM.

During his 15 years in practice Ilan has also regularly continued his updating and accumulation of knowledge though attending specialised seminars, courses and conventions both in the U.K. and in China.

Vanessa Jewell B.A. (Hons) BAaC.

Vanessa studied for three years at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Royal Leamington Spa. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. She is specialized in five element Acupuncture and facial rejuvenation. Vanessa Jewell is one of a few practitioners to have been trained in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture by leading expert Virginia Doran of New York.

Vanessa is also specialising in fertility treatment and fertility related problems and is an associate in the Zita West Network of Practitioners.

Catherine Esworthy

Catherine's interest in acupuncture developed after enjoying the benefits of treatment herself.

Catherine is qualified and experienced in the practice of acupuncture and acupressure massage. Her training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture took place at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York, over a four year period, resulting in the award of a Post Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture.

She attends courses regularly to extend her skills and keep up to date with the latest research. In addition Catherine is currently working towards her Masters qualification in Acupuncture, investigating the use of self-help advice within the acupuncture experience.
